This is where it all began...

Sleepover Saturdays is going to be a great way for me to record the memories Chava and Ari (and soon Shai Shai too) create with each other and their friends.  Our first sleepover Saturday was held on January 21, 2012 in honor of Chava's 4th birthday.  We had such a great time that we wanted to have another sleepover JUST BECAUSE.  We ended up losing one of our little princesses before the night was over, but before that we had a lot of fun!  We dressed up our Barbies (a new fascination in the Norber house) which Chava so perceptively pointed out..."dressing Barbie is also like decorating because you get to pick different clothes and different colors. So, I'm decorating my Barbie."

We also decorated paper flowers!  It was so much fun using the glitter glue!  Sarah completely colored in her flower .  It's so pretty!

For dinner we ate homemade spaghetti (my mom's recipe) and everyone wanted to be silly with the noodles.  After dinner we made cookies on a stick!  Hygienist Beverly told me that she used to make this for kids in her neighbor.  All you do is cut a sugar cookie roll into 1/8th inch slices, stick a square of chocolate in the center, place the popsicle stick on top and another piece of chocolate on top of the stick, cover it with another piece of cookie down pressing the pieces together.  Decorate! Voila! Cookie on a stick!

Oh...the cuteness did not stop there.  Here's more pictures of the girls hanging out!

Left to right:  Ariana (2 months shy of being 3 years old!), Ruby (4), Chava (4), Sarah (4), and Rebecca (4). It was only 5 days ago that Becca became a big sister for the first time!

Kids say the darndest things!

Sarah told us that she knows what vampires are and she wants to be a vampire girl.

Then, when everyone was laying down on their sleeping bags getting ready for bed Sarah asked Ruby if she could play with her Rapunzel doll...Ruby said, "Noooo....I'm sick and I coughed on it."  Then she licked her doll's foot and said, "And I licked her."  Whatever she did worked!  Sarah didn't want to play with her doll anymore.  LOL

Everyone was sleeping by 10:15PM.  Rebecca fell asleep first followed by Ariana, Chava, then Ruby.

Chava was the first to wake up at 6AM. By 7AM everyone was up and the house was a-bustling!  We ate fruit and gluten-free, dairy-free pancakes for breakfast.  And, the girls colored pictures and decorated a wall in the basement.

I think it's safe to say that everyone had a good time.  Even me!
